The Layout of a Website
To have a layout that works, you need to ensure that it is eye-catching, convenient and comfortable for the end-user.Visual Hierarchy
The color, size, arrangement, and distinctiveness of elements play a very important role in how the consumer views your website. It determines the order in which a spot or visual catches the eyes of the users. Bold headlines at the top of the page with high contrast on an interesting background will have higher visibility than small-sized text on a low contrast background at the bottom of the page. The various elements, ranked on importance, should be placed according to this hierarchyHeadline and CTA
While the descriptive and informative headline should be placed at the top of the page, the CTAs do not belong there. Their position is below and should be visible after the user has had a chance to browse. But, these must not go below the fold or the demarcation line for the viewable area beyond which the viewers need to scroll to access.
